New 'Zeebo' video game console launching in 2009


A brand-new video game console, Tectoy/Qualcomm's Zeebo, will be released this year. The Zeebo will first be released in Brazil and then later be distributed in other countries around the globe. The Zeebo will take advantage of the growing popularity of downloadable games as Zeebo owners will buy everything they play on it from an Xbox Live/PSN/Wii Channel-like service called Zeebonet. The wireless network will also be entirely free.
